1992 BEGINNING OF COOPERATION WITH CHINA
An agreement between the Governments of China and Russia on cooperation in the construction of a nuclear power plant in China was signed on December 18, 1992.

1996 A PROTOCOL ON COOPERATION IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF LIANYUNGAN NPP IN CHINA WAS SIGNED (LATER LIANYUNGAN NPP WAS RENAMED AS TIANWAN NPP)
On October 16, 1996, Chiang Ksin Xong, General Manager of the China National Nuclear Energy Corporation, and V.N. Mikhailov, the Russian Minister for Atomic Energy, signed a protocol on cooperation in the construction of Lianyungang NPP (later Lianyungang NPP was renamed as Tianwan NPP).

1997 A CONTRACT FOR THE TECHNICAL DESIGN OF LIANYUNGAN NPP WAS SIGNED
On May 21, 1997, a Contract for the Technical Design of Lianyungang NPP was signed. Later, Lianyung NPP was renamed as Tianwan NPP.

1998 START-UP OF “MOHOVCE” NPP, UNIT 1 (SLOVAKIA)
Units 1 and 2 of Mochovce NPP were built in Slovakia according to the design of nuclear power plant with V-213 reactor.
