About seminar

Series of International Seminars on Horizontal Steam Generator Modelling started in March 1991 and these seminars became traditional, being held in Lappeenranta, Finland. The first seminars (in 1991 and 1992) focused on thermal hydraulic experiments and analytical modelling of the flow behaviour in the WWER-type horizontal steam generators. Then, in the next seminars, held in 1994, 1997, 2001, 2004, their scope was enlarged and SG structural problems were included. The seminars demonstrated a good opportunity of information interchange on SG thermal hydraulics and structural integrity problems, as well as on problems in SG operation and lifetime management.

The 7-th International Seminar on Horizontal Steam Generators is organized by FSUE EDO "GIDROPRESS" with the support of the IAEA and participation of the Rosatom. It will be held in Podolsk, Moscow region. The Chairman of organizing-and-program Committee of the Seminar is Nikolay Trunov, Chief Designer - Head of Division of FSUE EDO "GIDROPRESS", DSc (Eng).
