OKB Gidropress JSC shipped its production for NPP

OKB Gidropress JSC shipped 206 expanded graphite gaskets for Novovoronezh NPP, Unit 5. The gaskets will be used at the reactor upper unit and at the steam generator during the preventive maintenance.

Expanded graphite gaskets of different sizes are designed and manufactured by OKB Gidropress JSC. They are used for sealing of the VVER reactor plant equipment sealing units at operating and newly commissioned NPP Units in Russia and abroad. 

Extended graphite gaskets can be used in thermal power engineering, petrochemical and automotive industries.

The Research and Production Division of OKB Gidropress JSC was one of the first who implemented the Production System of Rosatom (PSR) methodology and production culture into the business processes. The department for mechanisms and seals testing successfully implemented a number of PSR projects aimed at compliance with contractual deadlines for delivery of expanded graphite products.
