OKB "GIDROPRESS" JSC ships equipment components

On February 24, 2021, OKB GIDROPRESS shipped 918 expanded graphite gaskets for Kola NPP. The gaskets will be used for replacement during preventive maintenance at Units 1 - 4.
Expanded graphite gaskets of various sizes and types are designed and manufactured at OKB GIDROPRESS. They are used in sealing units of VVER reactor plant equipment at operating and newly commissioned power Units in Russia and abroad. Expanded graphite gaskets can be used in thermal power engineering, petrochemical industry, and auto industry.
The Research and Production Division of OKB GIDROPRESS was one of the first to introduce into business processes the methodology and production culture adopted within the framework of the Rosatom Production System (PSR). The Mechanism and Sealing Testing Section has successfully implemented a number of RPS projects aimed at meeting the contractual delivery dates for expanded graphite products.
